Just to put it out there, my 2 cents. Honestly, netizens LIVE for such scandals about idols. (I can see why, it’s actually quite interesting.) and they definitely over reacted on this one.
Of course block b was wrong. No doubts, their fans shouldn’t even try to defend them. And I definitely need not say why they were wrong, they even wrote down their apology as well. Defending them by quoting other idol groups mistake is just wrong. If we do that over and over, shit will not end. However I have to agree that idols tweeting about it was not helping in any way . I think 2pm really had enough, but tbh they should know better than to blow it all up. I can understand that twitter is an avenue for them to voice opinions but like how they want BB to be more mature about their actions, tweeting about it in such a harsh manner is not that mature of a thing to do as well. Lastly, about antis petitioning and harassing mothers, they are no better than BB in any way, they just prove to others that they are not much sensible than others in any way. Like how zico rubbed salt into the Thai fans wound, you guys are too. Really hope that this won’t go too out of hand just because of the netizens because that will be givin them too much power over the lives and rights of idols. Also I hope that rookie groups can humbly prove their worth using their music.
Really sick of the kpop thing, too many groups trying to ride the kpop wave that they didn’t help create. They are lucky to debut during such a good timing I hope they cherish it. I never really got into any new kpop groups other than infinite, because I think they have not (in my opinion) prove their worth to enjoy the luxury of the hallyu (how to spell!) wave.
*not a bbc nor hottest just to put it out there.
